FEATURES
Get Connected eases the burden of initially linking thousands of students in university living residences to a campus network.  Every year thousands of new students must access a university’s network for the first time.  Their computers often present security and compatibility problems that Get Connected circumvents.
Get Connected performs 4 general tasks:

  1. The program first verifies basic security checking for example, Microsoft baseline security analyzer, Windows updates, and anti-virus.
  2. The computer is then specifically secured by blocking ports, enabling Windows firewall, scheduling Windows updates etc.
  3. The program installs software such as Windows defender, SpyBot, Printer finder etc.
  4. The computer is registered.
